Thoroughly enjoyed this impressive site and its magnificent ancient structures. Although it was an extremely hot day (almost 110 °F) and we were sad that the big pyramid cannot be climbed anymore, Chichen Itza and particularly El Castillo with its incredible architecture and sound effects left a lasting impression on us.
